The client’s booking form had become a bottleneck for their business. It was slow, difficult to use, and tightly coupled to their main Next.js website causing customers to abandon bookings or send inquiries through inconsistent channels. The system stored entries in a database but offered no notifications, no workflow, and no integration with the tools the client actually used to manage their operations. As a result, the business relied on Google Forms or social media messages just to keep bookings moving, leading to missed requests and operational inefficiencies.
Solution
AppSkilling recommended a modernization approach focused on improving user experience, simplifying operations, and aligning the workflow with the client’s existing Google Workspace environment.
We upgraded the booking interface using UI5 Web Components on React, seamlessly embedded into their existing Next.js website. To streamline operations and reduce cost, we replaced the legacy database workflow and fully utilized GCP integrations for scheduling, notifications, and record‑keeping.
This allowed the client to manage bookings using the tools they already trusted — without adding new systems or complexity.
